  • Aaron Copland’s Lincoln Portrait combines sweeping American melodies with the powerful words of Abraham Lincoln—narrated live from the stage.

  • Amy Beach’s “Gaelic” Symphony was the first symphony published by an American woman and blends Celtic folk influences with the grandeur of the Romantic tradition.
