What’s Special About This Concert:
The Oklahoma Chamber Symphony’s annual Sounds of the Season concert blends beloved holiday classics, winter-inspired orchestral music, and the electrifying sound of rock-infused Christmas favorites in one festive evening.
Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s “Winter Daydreams” Symphony captures the beauty and mystery of winter through sweeping melodies, sparkling orchestration, and dramatic musical storytelling.
Holiday favorites including Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride and A Christmas Festival bring familiar seasonal melodies and joyful orchestral color to the first half of the program.
The second half features the music of Trans-Siberian Orchestra performed with live rock band, combining symphonic power, electric energy, and holiday spectacle in favorites like Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24 and Wizards in Winter.
The evening concludes with Oklahoma’s own iconic BC Clark Jewelers Jingle, a holiday tradition that has become a cherished part of the season for generations of Oklahomans.
